Where does our financial support come from? Typically, each year our support comes from the following groups. 40% - Individuals and families 25% - Foundations 20% - Faith communities 9% - Government grants 5% - Businesses 1% - Interest
Gifts to Open Door and Next Door Shelters are tax deductible and Michigan taxpayers receive 50% of their gift back as an income tax credit for gifts up to $200 for individuals and $400 for couples.
